To Friends and Opportunites, Ingrid Lee
Here is my last painting completed for 2011, so it is titled “To Friends and Opportunites” in acrylics on canvas 40″ x 40″. It is a celebration of all of the wonderful people I’ve met, friendships I’ve made, and opportunities which have presented themselves in 2011.
My journey to this painting of re-establishing my art career again started with Ingrid-creates , where I wanted to share my everyday creative passions like painting, baking, sewing and art, as well of the art and creativity of others back in August 2010…and now I am here, another website with Ingrid Lee Art, youtube channel, tweeting and meeting more people, writing articles for magazine and featuring on other people’s blogs and doing what I love. This year I travelled to Russia-who’d have thought I’d walk where Catherine II did? and I worked and met amazingly talented and generous artists and friends. I’m even going back next year to St Petersburg to exhibit artwork and teach a masterclass. I have had a very blessed year.
To all of you who have followed and supported me and my work, my creativity and other passions, I offer you my warmest heartfelt thanks…this painting I dedicate to you.
Soul Mates and friendship quotes and poems
A few facebook friends today have been sharing some awesome quotes which resonated with me over the past few days, about friendship, soul mates, love…these really inspired some ideas

.`•.¸¸.•´ ♥ Touch a woman’s mind and you get her interest…Touch her heart and you get her love…Touch her soul and you will get passion beyond your wildest dreams…And once you have touched all three, you have found your soul mate for eternity…♥
Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.
- Marcel Proust
“La amistad es más difícil y más rara que el amor. Por eso, hay que salvarla como sea.”
” The friendship is more difficult and rarer than love. That’s why, it is necessary to save it as it is. “
Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
~William Butler Yeats
